The Home Stretch: School Library in Uganda

Here in Sacramento, the last few weeks have been devoted to sorting books. A lot of sorting! We had such a great response with our book donations, that we were actually able to collect enough books for two Ugandan school. We have 3,000 books that will be shipped out on Sunday to the Daystar School and to the Oases Primary School in Eastern Uganda.

In Entebbe, they have also been busy working on constructing the Library. I just received these pictures of their progress. It's pretty amazing that they have been able to do so much in such a short amount of time! It will be exciting to see this room filled with books and children.
